The episode "Design" will be shown on the USA channel, 1 October at 3:00pm, 7 October at 9:00pm and 8 October at 1:00am. Watch Lynda’s chilling portrayal of a devious, manipulative mother, a character unlike one you have seen her play before.

News has gone out that crew casting has begun for Lynda Carter’s latest film. The title is yet to be announced, but production will begin in San Francisco from September 25 to October 10, and the need for additional crew members is being looked into.

"Flaw", the episode that Lynda guest-starred in as Lorraine Dillon, the beautiful-yet evil grifter who with her daughter April tried to set up an insurance scammer, only to be accused of his murder, will be repeated on Friday, August 11 at 10:00 PM, EST. This episode, the second of a two-parter which started as an episode of "LAW & ORDER: SVU" is one of the few times that Lynda has played a baddie, which she loved as a change from her “good mother” roles.
Let’s hope that her character gets time off for good behavior and returns for many more evil roles in the future on these top-rated televison shows!
The first ever Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman statue was unveiled at the DC Comics booth at Wizard World Chicago. Created with and personally approved by Lynda herself, the magnificent statue was sculpted by the talented Tim Bruckner, and is slated for release on 4 April, 2007.
“DC Direct is thrilled to be working with Lynda to bring this statue to the fans”, said Georg Brewer, VP of Design & DC Direct. “Lynda’s time as Wonder Woman is indelibly imprinted in all our minds.”
Although there have been many Wonder Woman collectibles over the years, this is the first item ever to be based on Lynda’s likeness! Hand-painted and made of cold-cast porcelain, the 13.5 inch statue features Princess Diana of Paradise Island, golden lasso in hand, as in “THE NEW ADVENTURES OF WONDER WOMAN” when the show took place in modern times.
“It was an honor and a privilege to sculpt one of the true icons of pop culture”, says Bruckner. “Lynda Carter will always be the quintessential Wonder Woman, and I hope that I was able to do justice to the character she brought to life.” Bruckner has sculpted Wonder Woman before for DC Direct several times before, usually based on the style of a specific comic artist, such as Adam Hughes or Alex Ross.
The statue will be a limited edition and is to retail for $195.00. So, save your nickels and if the statue sells well, probably more will be released.

It is very hard to believe, but our Lovely Lady is 55 years old today. We say that it is hard to believe because she looks so beautiful and youthful, and it is all natural! The marvelous mixture of Carter/Cordova family genes have resulted in a still stunning woman that all who meet her say looks just “Wonderful!”
Since her last birthday, Lynda has kept up her the successful resurgence of her career with the premiering of two hit movies, “Sky High” and “The Dukes of Hazzard”, two top-rated television appearances in “Law & Order: SVU” and “Law & Order”, a successful 8-week run in London as “Matron Mama Morton” in the play “Chicago”, a charming short film with unbelievably fantastic computer graphics called “TempBot”, a tough-as-nails Army Colonel who kicks vampire butts in "SLAYER", yet Lynda still has time to honor graduating seniors and accept an award from a prestigious woman’s group as a “Living Legacy”. But there’s more to come for Lynda this year, including her participation in her first audio recording since her “Portrait” album, and a return to San Francisco for a new movie role in the fall after she sees her beloved son off to college
Lynda, We, your many Fans wish nothing but the Best for You on this blessed day of days, and even though your family will soon not be all together, may their Love and Laughter sustain You wherever You go! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchan-dising Museum and Galleries have debuted a new exhibit in downtown Los Angeles. Showcasing the work of more than 40 costume designers from the last 40 years, the exhibit titled “The Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design” pays special homage to past and present. The show builds on FIDM’s annual exhibit “The Art of Motion Picture Costume Design”, which for the past 14 years has highlighted the Academy Award nominees for outstanding costume design. The inclusion of television costume highlights marks a first for the museum.
One of Lynda’s costume’s which she wore as television’s "WONDER WOMAN" will be among the costumes displayed, as well as designs by Bob Mackie for Carol Burnett, gear from the 1970’s shows “Battlestar Galactica”, “The Amazing Spider-Man”, plus creations from 80’s show “Dynasty” and “Solid Gold”. Although the mannequins faces are non-descript, it is entirely possible for anyone who has watched
the show to identify each character simply by their costume, says the exhibit curator Mary Rose. “This is what is so important about television. Unlike film, when they have lots of time to establish your personality and character, in television we have to use what we call a “stereotype look” so that you have instant recognition in the smallest time.”
The exhibit will run through September 9th.
Last Saturday, "SLAYER" finally premiered on the Sci-Fi Network. For those who missed it in the first two showings, it will be repeated on Thursday, 13 July at 9:00 P.M., don't miss it! Meanwhile, here's a little review.
An elite team of US Army Rangers under Captain Thomas Hawk (Casper Van Dien) are sent to South America to investigate rumors of villagers being attacked by mysterious creatures. When they are attacked in the middle of the rain forest in broad daylight by humans who rip and tear at their throats, the soldiers find that the creatures cannot be killed by gunfire, but only by a wooden stake through the heart or an efficient beheading, just like vampires. But wait: what is going on? Daywalking vampires? In the 21st century?
Six months later, Hawks’ team is dispatched by his commanding officer, Colonel Weaver (Lynda Carter), to search for another team that has disappeared in the same area, which was led by Sgt. Grieves (Kevin Grevioux), Hawks’ best friend. Reports are coming in that the vampires now seem to be organized and are attacking the local villagers with military-style assaults. And to make things even worse, Hawk leans that his botanist ex-wife Laurie (Jennifer O'Dell) is also on the same jungle on a research grant, investigating the local insect life. Talk about heavy responsibility!
Written, produced and directed by Kevin VanHook, "SLAYER" is a visually exciting, heart-pounding thriller, with the introduction of “Vampiros”, the South American Vampires, to the US sci-fi aficionados. The SCI-FI Channel scores another hit with "SLAYER" and any horror, fantasy or sci-fi fan worth his or her salt should love this small-screen flick, especially with the cool caliber of talent attached to it, such as Casper Van Dien as a redoubtable vampiros- killer Captain Hawk and Lynda Carter as tough-as-nails Colonel Weaver, whose parting shot impresses everyone!
