Fashion
Institute of Design and Merchan-dising Museum and Galleries
have debuted a
new exhibit in downtown
Los Angeles.
Showcasing the work of more than
40 costume designers
from the last
40 years, the
exhibit titled
“The Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design”
pays special homage to past and present. The show builds on FIDM’s
annual exhibit
“The Art of Motion Picture Costume Design”,
which for the past 14 years has highlighted the Academy Award
nominees for outstanding costume design. The inclusion of television
costume highlights marks a first for the museum. |
