up to. *** Wonder Woman most definitely gets back to
its comic book roots in "Deadly Toys," as the notion
of an insane toymaker unleashing his creations on
the world has been a staple of the medium since
nearly its inception. Indeed, Wonder Woman publisher
DC wrnics offered such colorful villains as The
Toyman and r The Prankster; madmen who for whatever
personal motivations turned their childhood
obsessions to deadly reality Adding to the comic
book feel is guest star Frank Gorshin (Hoffman),
who, besides being known as a wonderful
impressionist portrayed the Riddler on the old Adam
West Batman series. Speaking of casting, light
Fingered Lady" features the late Greg Morris, who
had costarred on the phenomenally successful
Mission: Impossible television series.". |
