Linda Jean Cordoba Carter is born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Colby Carter and Jean (Juana) Cordoba Carter. |

Linda appears on the Lew King Talent Show at age 5. |

Linda
takes her first communion in the Roman Catholic Church
in Phoenix. |

Linda’s
parents, Colby and Jean, divorce, and Linda and her
older brother and sister, Vincent and Pamela, live
with their mother in Scottsdale, Arizona. |

1965 |
|
Lynda
(she changed her name in elementary school) starts to
sing at the local pizza shop, “The Pizza Inn.” She
will join several local bands, “The Relatives,” “Just
Us” and "The Garfin Gathering” during the next few
years. |

1968 |
|
Lynda
and “The Garfin Gathering” play for three months at
the Sahara Hotel lounge in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lynda is
only 17 and must enter the building through the
kitchen. |

1970 |
|
Lynda
graduates from the Arcadia Titans High School in
Scottsdale. During her free hours and school
vacations, she has been traveling with various bands.
She will go to England where she will cut a demo
record, but tired of being on the road, she quits the
bands and returns to her family in Arizona. |

1971 |
|
Lynda attends Arizona State University. |
|
|
|

1972 |
|
Lynda enters and wins the beauty contests for “Miss Phoenix,1972”, and “Miss Arizona, 1972.” |

1972-73 |
|
Lynda wins the “Miss World USA” contest on 1 September, 1972 and travels
to London for the “Miss World” finals. She loses to Miss Australia, and returns to Phoenix. |

1974 |
|
The TV movie “Wonder Woman” premiers with Cathy Lee Crosby in the role. |
|
|
|
|
|
1974-75 |
|
Lynda goes to Hollywood, California, to study acting and try for roles in TV series and movies. She also models, and is on the cover album
of "Burgundy.” She has several roles in series, among them “Nakia”
and "Bobbie Dee” in “Matt Helm” and has a small part as “Zelda” in the pilot “Shamus: A Matter of Wife and Death.” |

Lynda is chosen by Stanley Ralph Ross for the role
of "Wonder Woman” in his TV movie “The New Adventures of Wonder Woman.” It airs on ABC on November, 1975. |

Lynda stars with Marjoe Gortner in the feature film “Bobbie Joe & the Outlaw.” |
