DESCRIPTION: John Davidson was born in Pittsburgh, the son of a minister. He made his Broadway debut in the 1964 production of Foxy, and soon after he incurred into TV. After the "Mike Douglas Show" was abruptly cancelled, John Davidson was called to replace him and the show was retitled "THE JOHN DAVIDSON SHOW". It ran from 1980 through 1982 on syndication. Lynda was one of the guests by the end of the show.
