DESCRIPTION: John Davidson was born in Pittsburgh, the son of a minister. He made his Broadway debut in the 1964 production of Foxy, and soon after he incurred into TV. After the "Mike Douglas Show" was abruptly cancelled, John Davidson was called to replace him and the show was retitled "THE JOHN DAVIDSON SHOW". It ran from 1980 through 1982 on syndication.

Lynda was one of the guests by the end of the show.

[•] John was the scheduled headline act at the Beverly Hills Supper Club in Southgate, Kentucky, the night the structure burned down, killing 165 persons, on May 28, 1977. He was not injured and later participated in a charity concert to raise funds for the families of fire victims..
[•] He allegedly memorized the entire New York phone book prior to appearing on "THAT'S INCREDIBLE".
[•] LESLIE NIELSEN and LYNDA CARTER would appear again together as guests in a talk-show 18 years later in England for "SO GRAHAM NORTON".
