DESCRIPTION: Beginning in 1973, "TOMORROW", was originally broadcast from NBC's studios in Burbank. Then it moved to New York in 1974, but back again to Burbank in 1977. It returned to New York in 1979, and Rona Barrett was added as the West Coast co-host under the new title of "TOMORROW COAST-TO-COAST". Plagued by numerous production changes, it was replaced in 1982 with a late show for a new comedian named David Letterman.

Lynda guested in one of the shows in 1981.

[•] The program was nominated three times for an EMMY award. Twice in 1976 for "Special Classification of Outstanding Program and Individual Achievement", one for Tom Snyder and a second one for the producers of the show. The third nomination was in 1981 for "Outstanding Achievement in Technical Direction and Electronic Camerawork".
[•] Peak moments with Snyder on "Tomorrow" included John Lennon's final televised interview, in April 1975 (replayed in December 1980 as a tribute to Lennon, and later released on home video), U2's first American television appearance in June 1981.
[•] In April, 2005, Snyder revealed that he is battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia, but that his doctors had told him it is "treatable".
