DESCRIPTION: Michael Parkinson, or "Parky" as he is familiarly known, began as a journalist on local newspapers in his natal Yorkshire [UK], until he moved into television in the 1960. In a list of the 100 Greatest British Television Programmes drawn up by the British Film Institute in 2000, voted for by industry professionals, "PARKINSON" was placed 8th. Lynda is interviewed by Parkinson and performs two live songs: "ALWAYS" and "BACK IN THE USA".
