DESCRIPTION: A "TELETHON" is a fundraising event on television that lasts many hours or even days with the purpose of raising money for charitable causes.  The program is staged on a set containing volunteer telephone operators, a stage, a tote board displaying the amount of money raised, a band, and a studio audience. Lynda has been an active collaborator in charitable causes hence her appearance on this telethon.
