As
Part Two opens, Diana
Prince [LYNDA CARTER] is in the grip of Sardor, punching at
him and trying to get free.
Johnny
[VINCENT VAN PATTEN] enters the room and
orders a musical command to let her go. He explains to the Skrill that he
doesn't want to waste such a valuable mind and aims his gauntlet at Diana
Prince,
who is once again in Sardor's grip. At that moment,
Andros
[DACK RAMBO]
enters the room and as he presses a button on his amulet, a Skrill
disappears. He threatens Johnny and the other Skrill if they do not release
Diana Prince, he is also willing to sacrifice the minds they have stolen for the
life of Diana. They agree and she is released. She is unconscious, Andros
carries her to the couch and uses his amulet to bring her round. |
|
•
Andros:
Princess, are you alright? |
|
•
Diana:
Uh yeah, um, I'm a little bit shaky but I think I'm alright. The
Skrill?! |
|
•
Andros:
Escaped. I had a feeling they would come for you. |
|
•
Diana:
That means that they know who I really am? |
|
•
Andros:
Our greatest danger lies in underestimating them. |
|
Back at the Skrill hideout, Karen presents Johnny with a list of names of
people connected with Tertex, a 'think tank' made up of the best minds on
the planet, minds that the Skrill know will be valuable. |
|
Back at Diana's apartment Steve calls to tell her that the Skrill have taken
over an abandoned building and he needs to speak to Andros. He asks him if
he can deal with the Skrill and Andros says that he can so Steve sends a car
to take him to the building. Andros won't let Diana accompany him. |
|
Andros arrives at the abandoned building and begins to look for the Skrill.
Johnny is there but is hiding outside with another Skrill. |
|
Back
at her apartment Diana is worried that Andros has walked into a trap so she
calls Steve who tells her not to worry and to keep away but she spins into
Wonder Woman and heads for the building. She searches for Andros and just as
she finds him Johnny uses his gauntlet to make the building collapse, he
runs away convinced that both Andros and Wonder Woman have been killed. They
have survived. |
|
•
Wonder Woman: Are you hurt? |
|
•
Andros: No I'm fine. |
|
•
Wonder Woman: We gotta stop meeting like this. |
|
•
Andros: We seem to have difficulty staying out of trouble don't we? |
|
•
Wonder Woman:
Yes! |
|
•
Andros: Thanks to this plague that's befallen your planet. |
|
•
Wonder Woman:
The Skrill led you to believe that they were here in order to
kill you. |
|
•
Andros: Vermin. Now that they think they've succeeded they'll rob the Earth
until their mind banks are gutted. |
|
•
Wonder Woman: Any idea where they'll strike next? |
|
•
Andros: I wish I did Princess. I wish I did. |
|
The first Tertex victim is a distinguished U.S. Senator, who is captured by
Johnny. Then Carla Burgess
[PAMELA MASON] a world renowned sculptress and
humanitarian is captured by one of the twins. The third victim, a university
professor is saved by Wonder Woman when Diana is notified by Steve that the
Skrill were headed for the university. She captures the Skrill but has to
let her go so that she can prevent the professor from using the jewel on
himself. |
|
Diana and Andros are in Steve's office. Andros is nervous and pacing. The
Planetary Council gave him six days to save Earth and he is down to 48
hours. If he doesn't succeed, the Council will take the matter in their own
hands. Decontamination will occur at the end of 48 hours. Diana pleads with
Andros to ask the council for more time but they refuse. Andros suggests
they tell the world what is happening and he, Diana and Steve make
preparations to leave for the United Nations immediately.
|
|
Andros explains to the General Assembly about the Skrill and warns the
delegates that their nations should prepare for the decontamination process.
While this is going on, Johnny overpowers a guard and a Skrill walks into
the guard. The guard enters General Assembly and Andros reacts by screaming
"Skrill". A number of Skrill surround the delegates and pandemonium erupts.
Johnny escapes with Wonder Woman after him. Racing after him, she suddenly
stops. |
|
Wonder Woman realizes all this confusion was masterminded by Johnny to
get her out of the room. She returns and is in a near state of shock:
There on the floor is Andros. She goes to him and gently lifts him. His
face is slack and empty; the Skrill have taken his mind. He is taken to
the hospital but the doctor can only monitor his vital signs. Diana
takes his amulet and in another room spins into Wonder Woman. She
transports herself to the Planetary Council to appeal for their help now
that Andros is unable to do anything but they refuse and she realizes
that it is up to her to find the Skrill and the stolen minds before time
runs out. |
|
Back at the I.A.D.C headquarters Steve and Diana provide I.R.A.C with the
information that they have in the hope that he will be able to locate the
Skrill's hiding place but he is unable to help and suggests that they ask
Wonder Woman to question Debbie again. |
|
In Steve's office Wonder Woman questions
Debbie
[KRISTIN LARKIN]. She has her lasso looped around her with
the same question -where is the Skrill's hiding place? Debbie tells her in
the woods, near a tunnel and animals.
Steve
[LYLE WAGGONER] and Wonder Woman
figure out that the location is the old zoo. |
|
As Wonder Woman approaches an
abandoned bear pit, a Skrill, musically relates the news of her presence to Johnny. He orders the mind banks ready for evacuation. A battle
follows with Johnny and the Skrill firing their gauntlets at Wonder Woman.
She deflects them easily and as she approaches them, stops short at what
she sees. It is Sardor and he lunges for her. She leaps away and finds
herself near a container of "Sardor-nip" and begins throwing some of the
substance on Johnny and the other Skrill. |
|
They
back away and find themselves in a corner. Suddenly an iron cage door
crashes down, trapping the Skrill, blocking Sardor's attack. Johnny,
realizing he is trapped, emits a sharp musical chord and Sardor immediately
turns his attention to Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman lures the monster out into
the open and toward the pit. They fight, then Sardor lunges at her and as
she steps aside, the beast plunges into the deep pit. She breathes a sigh of
relief as she hears the sound of the approaching sirens. |
|
In Andros' hospital room, Wonder Woman holds the amulet up near the Skrill's
mind-filing cabinet. Suddenly there is a light and she takes out a jewel
which is Andros' mind. She touches the jewel to his forehead and Andros
instantly awakens and is immediately himself again. He then explains to the
doctor how to restore the minds of the others. |
|
Wonder Woman, Steve and Andros then head for the forest area where the
Skrill are under the guard of the state police. Andros restores Johnny's
mind. The police are baffled. They do not know what to do with the Skrill.
Andros immediately takes charge. He depresses a button on the amulet, a
high-pitched sound emanates from it and the Skrill disappear, leaving only a
pile of clothes on the ground. Steve watches with awe and thanks Andros for
saving the planet. He moves off to join the state police leaving Wonder
Woman and Andros alone. |
|
•
Wonder Woman:
Deja vu! The last time we
said goodbye was when?1943? |
|
•
Andros:
Perhaps we should keep track of our hello's instead? Even better... |
|
•
Wonder Woman:
Don't ask me that. |
|
•
Andros: I know a planet with eight moons, they fill the night sky like
jewels in a crown. You'd look beautiful under that sky. |
|
•
Wonder Woman: Andros I can't. I'm needed here. |
|
•
Andros:
Yes you are. So Princess, until, whenever. |
|
•
Wonder Woman: Until whenever. |
|
He sadly leaves her and immediately the clouds billow across the sun,
blackening the sky and there is a sound of thunder. As the wind blows around
her and whistles through the trees, Wonder Woman quietly watches Andros
disappear. |
|
Back at the I.A.D.C Diana gives her report to IRA, who asks about Andros and
the Skrill. He also seems to have been programmed to have a sense of humor
as he proceeds to tell Diana several bad jokes until she leaves. |
|
Arriving back at her apartment Diana goes out onto the balcony and looks
up at the night sky. She hears Andros' words and as she looks up at the
moon she quietly says
"Until whenever Andros,
whenever." |
