DESCRIPTION: Created in 1994, the "THE ALMA AWARDS" (American Latino Media Arts Awards) were created as part of the National Council of La Raza's (NCLR's) strategy to promote Latino in television and film. Besides being nominated for "Someone To Love Me", Lynda was a presenter of an off-screen award. Nevertheless she was seen in the aducience during the broadcast of the event.
