Tag Line: "THE MAN WHO WOULDN'T TELL" Air Date: March 31, 1978. An ordinary man caught up in an extraordinary situation - the hallmark of many Alfred Hitchcock films among others - is the premise of "The Man Who Wouldn't Tell". Actually, the "Man" in question is a janitor named Alan Akroy who works in a government installation where he accidentally discovers an important ingredient to an innovative formula for a new breed of explosive. Because of this, this previous "nobody" suddenly finds himself a target of assassins. Naturally, Wonder Woman has to step in and save this innocent. "GIRL FROM ILANDIA" Air Date: April 7, 1978. Extraterrestrials are back on earth in "The Girl From Islandia", only this time they are not represented by Andros (who has appeared in several episodes of Wonder Woman) and his people. The alien in question is Tina, a young girl who has been endowed with a variety of extraterrestrial powers, and who has been trying to live on earth by passing herself off as human. But when Tina's abilities are discovered by a criminal mastermind, he sets about trying to capture and exploit her - until Wonder Woman discovers his plans. *** Ever since Wonder Woman went off the air, there have been reports of the character being resurrected either on television or in a feature film. One of the producers who has developed concepts for a new television incarnation is Deborah Joy Levine, the creator of the romantic-action adventure Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman. Although this version is not currently in production, Levine offers her views on how a modem version of the character could work today. "I think what worked on Lois & Clark," says Levine, "is that it was really 50/50 or 60/40 relationship and stuff going on between them versus the bad guys they had to deal with. If you were to bring Wonder Woman bath, I guess it would be comparable to Ally McBeal meets Xena. She can be like Xena and beat a group of people I she has to, but the traumas of her life as a single woman living in Los Angeles would probably be the priority!".
