"THE
FINE ART OF CRIME" Air Date: October 13,1978. In
"The Fine Art of Crime", Wonder Woman is perplexed
by a series of robberies taking place in a museum.
The crimes themselves are not that unusual, it's
just that there are no signs of break-in whatsoever.
Deeper investigation leads Wonder Woman to question
the true nature of a life-like statue within the
museum and whether or not it is a sentient being.
"THE QUEEN AND THE THIEF" Air Date: October 28,
1977. "The Queen and the Thief" has Diana Prince and
Steve Trevor, Jr. embarking on an undercover
assignment with the goal of apprehending an
international jewel thief, who is apparently
involved with the Queen of a foreign country. ***
Casting notes: "The Fine Art of Crime" features a
number of notable guest stars, among them Roddy
McDowall, best known as a talking chimpanzee in the
Planet of the Apes feature films and television
series; Ed Begley, Jr., who would go on to co-star
in the critically acclaimed St. Elsewhere, Gavin
MacLeod, who costarred as Murray Slaughter on The
Mary Tyler Moore Show and Captain Stubbing on The
Love Boat, and Joe E. Tata, one of the few adult
stars - at least when the series began - of Beverly
Hills 90210. "The Queen and the Thief" features
Juliet Mills, previously known as the mysteriously
gifted Nanny of Nanny and the Professor and
currently delighting daytime audiences with her
portrayal of a witch on the NBC soap opera,
Passions; David Hedison, star of the original
version of The Fly and the actor who portrayed James
Bond's best friend, Felix Leighter, in the 007 films
Live and Let Die and Licence to Kill, and John
Calicos, who has the distinction of portraying Star
Trek's first Klingon, Kor (in the episode "Errand of
Mercy"), and who costarred as the villainous Baltar
on Battlestar Galactica." |
