EPISODE SYNOPSIS: Along with "ET" and "Profile", "E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY" is one of E!'s most recognizable segments. Based on stars biographies and retrospectives usually focusing on disgrace or bad sides but always with sort of a happy ending. They're usually more severe and though they made a few mistakes when it comes to data, in general it's not a bad overview on her life and it shows that she's a loved and respected artist. Although Lynda was not interviewed for the show, there were a few interesting old interviews and some special interviews with friends and family including her Dad Colby and brother Vincent, as well as Howard "Speedy" Garfin, Larry King, Cassie Sternthall, Cynthia Greer, Sue Cameron, Jay Bernstein, Barbara Mandrell, Ron Samuels, Valerie Harper, Lee Horsley and Melissa Prophet making it a complement to Lifetime's "INTIMATE PORTRAIT".
