[•] The cable channel is AMC's sister channel and is based in New York.
[•] In 2001 the channel changed its name to WE - Women Entertainment, featuring some original programming, such as non-fiction talk shows, as well as made-for-TV movies, older feature films, and re-runs of TV shows, it also shows art and fashion documentaries and a reality series. Thematically, the programming is focused on women and women's issues.
[•] Like AMC, Romance Classics programming was based on commercial-free movies, but this practice was abandoned when it changed from Romance Classics to WE.
