DESCRIPTION: In 1975, Chuck Woolery inaugurated "Wheel of Fortune". After seven years on the show, Woolery went on to host various game shows like Love Connection, Scrabble, The Dating Game, Greed, and Lingo. In 1991, and only for a year, he hosted this short-lived daytime talk show: "THE CHUCK WOOLERY SHOW".

[•] Chuck Woolery was half the pop duet "The Avant-Garde", with Elkin "Bubba" Fowler. Their one and only hit, a song called "Naturally Stoned", peaked at #40 on the charts in 1968. Elkin went on to play back-up banjo behind Leonard Cohen. Woolery released several solo singles to minimal acclaim.
[•] Often forgotten, Woolery was the first host of Wheel of Fortune.
[•] A born again Christian, Woolery had been married three times and has eight children.
