DESCRIPTION: "THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JOHNNY CARSON" was the full name of the show during the years that Johnny Carson hosted from 1962 to 1992. For all but a few months of its first ten years of existence, Carson's "Tonight Show" was based in New York, New York. In May 1972 the show moved to Burbank, California, where it remained for the rest of its run.

This is Lynda's third appearance on "THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JOHNNY CARSON".

Series Run: October 2, 1962 (First show hosting Johnny Carson, the series began on September 27, 1954) trough May 22, 1992 (Last of Johnny's appearances as host of the show, then he was replaced by Jay Leno).

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: Instead of the usual Johnny Carson monologue guest host Kenny Rogers sings 'She's A Mystery To Me' and 'Am I Too Late'. LYNDA CARTER sings "EVERYBODY". Then she tells that was originally a singer but gave it up to play "WONDER WOMAN", and that she is returning to the stage. She was Miss World USA in 1972, and today is her birthday. She is a songwriter and wrote the songs she sings tonight, and then sings "TOTO [DON'T IT FEELS LIKE PARADISE]". Tom Dreeseb talks about his home town of Harvey - Illinois, and tells a couple of stories. Dr. Michael Fox discuss about cats (how to name them, allergic reactions, when should they be declawed). David Soul tells he also started his career as a singer, and then sings 'Music Man' a song written by Kenny Rogers.
