EPISODE SYNOPSIS: Deputy Sheriff Nakia Parker of Concord, New Mexico, a full blooded Navajo Indian, is called to a local bar called “Jackies’ to break up a fight. He is attacked by Glen Haywood, the spoiled son of rich local rancher Matt Haywood, and knocks out the young man. Haywood goes home, but is found dead the next day, apparently of the blow struck by Deputy Parker, and Matt Haywood presses for a grand jury indictment against the Deputy. Nakia investigates and questions several Concord townspeople, including John Chase, an older man with a beautiful young wife, Helen (Lynda Carter) who was bothered by Glen Haywood in the bar the night before the fight.  In his investigation, Nakia finds that there was a disagreement between Glen and his younger brother, Arnold, after the bar fight, and when he tries to question Arnold, the teenager tries to flee, but is caught and confesses to the murder of his brother.
