(...) The New Adventures of Wonder Woman will be back on CBS next season with the title character still portrayed by gorgeous Lynda Carter (who, by the way, is also a singer-performer). Apparently, this show got better ratings on CBS than it did on ABC, and I suspect that it was partly because her outfit got skimpier. Warner Bros., DC, and the network are undoubtedly all very happy about the renewal. It's hard to believe that this series began as a made-for-TV flick called Wonder Woman, which, starring Cathy LÑee Crosby in the title role, wa struly abysmal. (...)
