LYNDA Carter receives us with a smile, but we notice a certain melancholy, a kind of sadness when she comments:

-I can't believe that the new season has started and not to see "Wonder Woman" on the screen. That show was part of my life and I won't ever forget the four years that we shoot it. In fact I don't understand people who complain about a character who gave them popularity and lots of satisfactions.. I've read that Lyle Waggoner said he was glad about the end of the show in which he was "only a shadow of himself"... In short... I believe that Waggoner is recognized because of that character and nothing else.

- Now that Wonder Woman has come to an end, which are your professional projects?

- I'm under contract with CBS to make several programs during the year. One of them will be a musical special... Anotehr a comedy... And maybe we'll make a special with a caharacter similar to Wonder Woman. By the other hand we'll be shooting amovie in Europe.

-¿Why didn't you come to Argentina like it was announced?

- Due to a series of engagements which took longer than I thought. I started a show in Las Vegas, but fortunately since it was very successful a series of other engagements came along and I haven't stopped ever since.

- Ron Samuel, your husband, is he still your manager?

- That's right. There's no other one that manages my career better. By the other hand, he's also the manager of Lindsay Wagner and other Hollywood stars. Ron and I met in a party and it was precisely Lindsay who introduced us. It was 1976 and I was already doing Wonder Woman for a year. Ron arranged to pass the series to CBS with a fantastic contract... and at the same time, in 1977 I signed another deal with him: "till death do us part". Ron is very smart and he knew that the serie wouldn't last another four years. My husband "killed Wonder Woman" but that promoted my career as a singer. I remaind you that my debut was as a singer when I was 16, and I spent two years touring the country with a band. Then I became Miss Phoenix, Miss Arizona and Miss World-USA... That led me to became an actress... But my love for singing never died...

Lynda, born on July 24, 1954, with 25 bright years, she is as beautiful as ever. We hope that she could find another character on TV and returns with her beauty like she did with Wonder Woman.
