"I was excited to the idea to see Superman in the screen... "

Now that the series "Wonder Woman" has finnished, it is time for Lynda Cover to think of other projects. Finish the role of the famous woman of the space! The original broadcast has ended but CBS decided to keep showing the series in the regular programming. CBS doesn't have either the intention to record a series of new episodes. "Wonder Woman" was very popular, as is again today, but tomorrow, the tastes of the public risk to change. The character has been overexploited and doesn't have more nearly anything new to offer.
All that doesn't mean that the beautiful Lynda will end up naked in the street without work. Quite the contrary. She continues to receive a big salary for the reruns of "Wonder Woman" that CBS shows irregularly. Besides her beauty and her talent is having almost everywhere let some traces in the high spheres of the showbussiness, new offers of employment accumulate every day in her desk. She refused several of them, always after consulting her husband, Ron Samuels, if it is convenient. What offers will she accept? What will make in the future?
THE BIGGEST SELLING POSTER
However the career of Lynda Carter started indeed when she was elected Miss USA. A girl of her size with a beautiful physical cannot exist without being noticed by some second-hand producer whose eyes change themselves in sign of $$$ as soon as he sees her. A bad pass already occurred in the past. Lynda appeared naked in the movie "Billy Joe and the Outlaw". Of the photos drawn of this movie - where you see Linda's naked breasts - have been published even in some masculine magazines.
This experience had embittered Lynda a little facing the woman's free exploitation in the movies. But she was young, as she says, and promises that she would not make it anymore. Even though she is against the exploitation of the woman as an object, Lynda doesn't regret this movie because of the nude scenes but because of the violence of the. The scenes of nudity were not of bad taste. It is the violence that I reject."
The proof that Lynda doesn't have anything against the sale of erotic photos of women, it is that she agreed to put for a poster, not a poster putting Wonder Woman in the limelight, but a poster putting Lynda Carter in the limelight.
"I don't try to be consciously sexy. My husband convinced me to make the poster. I didn't want to make a poster in bikini when everybody already made it. My husband convinced me to make the poster when he suggested me to make with the attached shirt abovel the navel."
Her husband don't regret the decision, because the poster sold a million units.
RETURN TO MUSIC
Now free of her character of Wonder Woman, Lynda would have the taste well to make a return to music. Lynda left a long time of a pop group as singer before being discovered by the television. She prepares a new album of songs, as she specifies it, "more commercial". More commercial than her first album, which appeared on Epic label, "that had no big success". Samuel, her husband-manager, negotiates with another company.
Will she make the disco? "All that it is necessary to make the album sell", does she replies with as much determination as Wonder Woman.
The biggest challenge that offers itself at the moment to Lynda is this one-hour TV special that will be presented next fall. In this special, Lynda promises to discover parts of her talent that one wouldn't suspect. Even though she doesn't have as much theatrical formation as several of her colleagues of the television, she tells to really have some ideas for her on the production, the script, the exploitation of situations a little more dramatic than the sequences of "comic strips" of the Wonder Woman series.
To this day, her husband and she don't want anything to unveil the specific content of this broadcast "of which we want to make keep the surprise."
WONDER WOMAN LOVE SUPERMAN
As the flying sister that one wanted to get married already to Robin Fusée, some caricaturists have fun to mate Wonder Woman with Superman, two very popular super-heroes of our time. Such a marriage, must make strong children!
Lynda Carter saw the SUPERMAN movie lately. "I was excited to the idea to be going to see this movie because I had a big idea of the way Christopher Reeve had to smell in the skin of a super-hero. Especially as one knows itself in life these days."
Lynda commented on the difficulties to play the dressed super-hero.
"When you wear a costume, the reality leaves by the window and you must work strong to have realism in your performance. I liked the way that George Reeves played Superman on television - always with a wink, and not like a buffoon. It is easy to sound forgery in this kind of role, to seem ridiculous".
Lynda is a capable woman who knows what she wants and what she doesn't want. She has a professional conscience that pushes it to improve her performance, to see farther, in search of the things in which she believes to be able to succeed, always. Now that Wonder Woman left, it is to the tour of Lynda Carter to fly to the rescue.
