Author: Not stated.
Country: USA.

When Charlie was faced with the task of replacing raven-haired Kate Jackson this past summer, word had it that only brunettes need apply. But the competition was narrowed down to Shelley Smith, Susan Anton, Barbara Bach and Shelley Hack, and everyone suddenly realized that Charlie's girls were going to be blonde-brunette-blonde bookends instead of the reverse! The brunettes who at one time had the upper hand, at least on Charlie's Angels, are here as elsewhere being overrun by blondes! […]

[…] As for all-round champs, Lynda "Wonder Woman" Carter, that dark-tressed bundle of dynamite, can hold her own against any ten blondes with her great diversity of talent. Her Vegas act laid ground work for her TV variety special, Lynda, as well as a dramatic made-for-TV movie, The Last Song. With more offers than she can handle this brunette dynamo will also be seen on the big screen in a film called The Shroud to be made in Europe. She and manager-hubby Ron Samuels took advantage of her location filming in Europe, as a chance to get some romance back into their hectic schedule, with a brief interlude for a second honeymoon. While this dark beauty loves to work, she knows playtime is important to maintain a healthy marriage and healthy outlook on life-both of which she has!

[…] Are the Blondes taking over? Maybe in sheer numbers, but they can't overshadow the impact made on show business by those glamorous Brunettes!
