Diana Prince (LYNDA CARTER) paces alongside her disabled car which is on the side of the road, As she glances at her watch and looks around the area, she suddenly hears the sound of an approaching car. A jeep comes up the fairly deserted road toward her and as it comes closer, the driver stops. The driver, Thorp (CRAIG LITTLER) addresses her. She chooses her words carefully- and within seconds the passwords are exchanged and Thorpe knows that she-is the right person. He is thrilled that he will be working with one of the top agents of the IADC who turned double agent. Thorpe informs her that his boss needs the information he requested within the-next two days. He refuses to tell Diana who his boss is and takes off. Diana whirls into Wonder Woman Motorcyclist, borrows a motorcycle and in hot pursuit, catches Thorp. She loops the lasso around him and after questioning him, learns that Harrison Fynch (JOSEPH SIROLA) is the man who wants to buy the information from Diana and she also learns that Fynch is preparing to set up a surveillance operation in Washington. Thorp tells Diana that he is to meet Fynch's contact, but Diana decides that it will be she who meets the contact, not Thorp.

Leon Gurney (JARED MARTIN), the owner of Fun Universe, an amusement park, has just received an unannounced visitor in his office. As Leon hands Fynch a cup of coffee, he asks him the nature of his business. Much to his surprise, Gurney finds out that Fynch wants to purchase the amusement park. He explains to Fynch that it is not for sale and that he and his brother always dreamed about owning a park. His brother, Davey, dreamed up most of the rides and designed them and the park. Davey is missing in action in Vietnam and no way does Leon want to sell it. Fynch gets up to get more coffee, asks Leon if he also wants a refill, and as he walks to the coffee machine, Fynch attaches a tiny electronic bugging device to the base of Leon's coffee mug.

In his hotel suite, Fynch is with one of his henchmen, Pierce (MARC ALAIMO). He places a medium-sized transistor radio on a table and pulls the antenna to full height. He finds the station he wants, sits back and listens. The voices he hears are that of Leon and one of his employees, Kirk (FRED LERNER). The conversation is Kirk telling Leon that he and other employees have seen a horrible looking figure of a man in the park. Leon has heard this story a number of times before but always covers it up. He tells Kirk to leave his office and he resents him spreading the rumor that Fun Universe is haunted by some depraved monster. He tells Kirk that he doesn't want one word out to the public or the news media. Fynch smiles as he now has found out a way for Leon to sell the park.

Diana reports to Steve what she has learned from Thorp It seems that Fynch intends to set up some kind of system to monitor shortwave phone conversations and with his expertise he'll find ways to monitor all communications. He can sell valuable lnformation to foreign countries. She then tells Steve that she is on her way to meet the contact. The contact is Pierce. They meet, exchange passwords, but Pierce doe not like her. He leaves before he finishes his pie and coffee Diana calls him back to the table telling him that he forgot his change. Among his change is a fifty-cent piece and as he puts his change in his pocket,- Steve, who is sitting in his office, can hear the sounds of the coins jostling around in Pierce's pocket.

A group of young boys from Patrick Home For Boys are pending a day at Fun Universe with a number of free passes from Leon Randy (IKE EISENMANN), one of the older boys, is assigned to look after the younger ones. When young Tommy looses his pass for a roller coaster ride, Randy gives up his pass to him. Randy looks for Tom's pass and sees it has been blown into the site of a shrub and is caught there Randy goes after it, but steps on grass that is strangely off-color suddenly the patch of grass tips downward and Randy begins to fall through The ground flips back into place Randy finds him elf in a dark, shadowy tunnel with a small bulb hanging on the side. He scream for help. In another part of the tunnel, a strange form of a person hears the scream. He follows the screams, but stays in the background Randy does not know that someone is watching him.

Thanks to the fifty-cent piece in Pierce' pocket, Steve and Diana can hear the conversation between Pierce and Fynch. Fynch tells Pierce that he had just heard that a young orphan has disappeared from the park and he orders Pierce to plant a bomb in the ferris wheel. With all this bad luck, perhaps Leon will sell him the park. Steve and Diana realize that an amusement park is an ideal cover for Fynch's operations. Constant crowds, lots of diversions, the park is a perfect place for agents to rendezvous and pass information and, with his interest in micro-waved phone conversations, the tower at the park would be a perfect place to set up monitoring equipment Fynch must be stopped. Diana takes on the assignment.

Pierce, posing as a member of the clean-up crew, enters the park Diana finds a quiet spot and whirls into Wonder Woman. She follows him at a safe distance. As he makes his way toward the ferris wheel, he passes a shrub, when suddenly something step out directly in front of him. His surprise turn to horror when he sees its face. He runs, dropping the tool case which bursts open when it lands. The creature stoops down, picks up the case to examine it when Wonder Woman bursts onto the scene and halts abruptly, frozen in place She doesn't scream as Pierce did, but would like to. What she sees is a man's face hideously deformed. He grabs the tool case and runs. Knowing the park better than Wonder Woman, he looses her. The man lowers himself through a manhole and lands in the tunnel, right in the path of Randy. Randy jumps back with a gasp of fright, wide-eyed. The man tells Randy not to be frightened and introduces himself as David (JARED MARTIN). Together they examine the tool case and within moments Randy is put at ease and is no longer frightened. David explains that he was in Vietnam flying a chop-per carrying napalm. He wants every-one to think the explosion killed him. Since his brother owns the park, it is best he stays hidden. In the meantime, Fynch has ordered Pierce to get Diana Prince whatever the cost...
