Diana Prince (LYNDA CARTER) has been transferred to the IADC office in Los Angeles. As she instructs the movers where to place her furniture, she notices a little spider monkey approaching like a lost puppy. The movers start toward the animal, trying to coax it toward them, when the monkey backs off, turns tail and runs. The monkey runs into the middle of the street right in the path of a speeding car. The car hits the monkey, sending it flying through the air. Diana and the movers run to the monkey and instead of a bloody pulp, they find a healthy, animated monkey that gets up and jumps into Diana's arms. Diana is puzzled. She examines the tag the animal wears around its neck.

While in the office of her new superior, Dale Hawthorn (JOHN DURREN), Dr. Akers (ROBERT SAMPSON) enters. Diana tells him that according to the monkey's tag, it is registered to him for research and that she found him wandering around her neighborhood. She asks Dr. Akers what kind of research he is conducting. It seems strange to her that the monkey shows no interest in food or water, never gets tired and as she jabs a pencil into the monkey's back, he doesn't seem concerned. Dr. Akers explains that he and Dr. Reichman (BRIAN DAVIES) were doing research into the aging process. He found out that Reichman was insane. He left him. Reichman wants to create an army of invulnerable men, with which he would take over this country and some day the world. Akers is now concerned. Now that he made a monkey invulnerable, his next step is to find and use a human guinea pig.

At a local gym, a young Professor (HAL FREDERICK) finishes his jog around the gym and approaches the bar where Bryce (BOB SEAGREN) is working out. The professor's clothes are soaked with sweat and Bryce, who has been working out for hours, is as cool as the minute he started. He tells the Professor that he volunteered for some research with a Dr. Reichman and has been receiving injections. He also tells him that he hasn't eaten or had a thing to drink in two days. Bryce then grasps onto a rope suspended from the ceiling and begins ascending it. About twenty feet up the rope, it snaps and sends Bryce head first toward the gym floor. The professor watches in horror but Bryce rises to his feet and walks away. Now Bryce is concerned. Just what did Dr. Reichman do to him...he decides to pay Dr. Reichman a visit. Just as he opens the door to the lab, Dr. Akers arrives and they enter together. They do not know each other. Diana, in the meantime, decides to pay a visit to the lab also. Just as she is parking her car, she hears a lout explosion coming from the lab. She whirls into Wonder Woman and enters the lab. She sees Bryce whose clothes are in flames but he tells her to take care of Dr. Akers. She jumps two stories with Akers in her arms and lays him down on the ground. She looks and sees Bryce, in flames, jumping. She tends to Dr. Akers. One minute later she looks for Bryce, but he is nowhere in sight. She looks around perturbed.

Diana and Hawthorn put their heads together and figure out that the best place for Dr. Keichman to recruit volunteers is the local university. Diana visits the admissions office and sees a picture of Bryce. She obtains his home address and decides to pay him a visit. In the meantime, Bryce has contacted Dr. Reichman and wants to be human again. Reichman tells him that he must do certain things before he will reverse the treatment. Bryce is helpless and returns to his apartment where he finds Diana waiting for him. She identifies herself and Bryce bolts, heading for window and smashes through it. He runs away. Diana whirls into Wonder Woman and starts after him. Her golden lasso settles on his shoulders and she starts questioning him. He refuses to answer and realizes there are advantages to his condition after all. Bryce is scared. Reichman is the only one who can help him and he doesn't want anything to happen to him. Wonder Woman is disappointed and tells him that Diana Prince left her number in his apartment.

At home, Diana is surprised by a man who is in her living room. He holds a gun on her and tells her to move toward the garage. Diana knows immediately it is one of Reichman's henchmen. He ties her hands and feet, goes to her car, leans in and starts the ignition. He leaves her in the garage. Bryce decides to pay her a visit but doesn't find her at home. He sees her purse on the floor and thinks something is wrong. He looks around the house and suddenly hears a faint call for help. Like a human cannonball, he crashes through the garage door and finds Diana sprawled out on the floor. When he finds out that one of Reichman's men did this to her, Bryce pales. He tells Diana that under orders from Reichman he stole Akers' papers for Reichman. Now, they both are worried. This means that Reichman can make hundreds of Bryces.

They decide to pay Reichman a surprise visit to his home. Once they arrive, they are greeted by vicious dogs. Bryce fights them off while Diana slips away and whirls into Wonder Woman. Reichman sees all this from his office window and quickly throws all his notes into a suitcase. He turns around and finds Bryce standing there, but suddenly, Bryce stops. A tiger has sprung to her feet and starts attacking Bryce. He fights the tiger very easily. Bryce then leaps for the suitcase -the notes inside can make him human again -but Reichman pitches the suitcase toward a table lined with beakers and jars, spilling their contents and instantly there is an explosion which consumes the suitcase.

Bryce is helpless. The smoke is poison. He and Wonder Women immediately start saving the animals -bunnies, rats and kitten -from the burning lab. In the process, Reichman escapes. Bryce is dejected. The thought of being invulnerable really depresses him. He is determined to find Reichman. Diana promises to help him and of course, Wonder Woman also promised to help him. Diana and Bryce develop a wonderful friendship. So much so, that Diana talks Bryce into working for the IADC. He is introduced to

Hawthorn as Brett Cassidy and looks completely different from Bryce -a lab coat which helps disguise his well-proportioned physique, his hair is combed differently and he now wears glasses. He and Diana have fooled Hawthorn and now the two of them can work together to fight crime.
