A young couple, Henry Wilson (JEFFREY BYRON) and Mary Lou (LILIBET STERN) are together in a car, much against their parents wishes. It is in the country and the only sound heard is the sound of crickets. Suddenly an eerie whirring sound is heard and as it passes over the car, it is almost deafening. They see a large, oblong ring of blinding colored lights, like a crown of Jewels against the sky and they think it is a UFO. Henry grabs his camera and tape recorder and leaves the car and disappears into the night. Mary Lou calls after him, but there is no answer and Henry is gone.

Diana Prince (LYNDA CARTER) is assigned to the case. She arrives in the small town of Berryville which is now bustling with activity -tv crews, photographers, etc. Diana tells Mrs. Wilson (DORIS DOWLING) that she is with the IADC and would like to-talk to her, when a microphone is shoved into her face by a reporter, asking her questions about her son. Mary Lou calls Diana aside and after telling her that their parents can't stand each other, she is delighted to talk to an outsider. She tells Diana that she has the tape recorder that she found outside the car after Henry disappeared. Diana plays the tape and there is a description of the UFO and the "beings" who came out of it. His final words on the tape are screams Of help to Mary Lou. Diana immediately sends the tape to Steve Trevor (LYLE WAGGONER).

Steve has been watching the activity on television when he sees extraterrestrial spaceships. The starships strafe the ground with lasers, disintegrating it. He and others gape in awe. Suddenly, the screen goes black. Colonel Robert Elliot- (TIM O'CONNOR), an expert on unidentified flying objects, reports to Steve. He is on his way to Berryville to investigate Just what is going on. It was Just reported that a plane has spotted what looks like the battle site in the foothills of the Alleghenies. Elliot is also an expert in nuclear missiles. Once in Berryville, Col. Elliot and an Army General (DAVID WHITE) arrive at the battlesite where they see burnt out pickup trucks, sheriff's cars, etc. They can't believe what they are seeing -a handful of defenseless farmers and country deputies destroyed. Seems strange to them that the only people to escape was the television crew. Hopefully they will not have to use nuclear missiles to stop whatever is going on.

Diana gets into her car and decides to try to locate the pirate transmitter. It seems that lately a large amount of heavy duty electronic equipment was recently purchase and moved to the Berryville area. The kind of equipment that could put a TV station into operation. The man she is to look for is Mason Steele (ANDREW DUGGAN), an ultra-right-wing fanatic. As she drives long the road she sees a van with MASTEX ELECTRONICS INC. printed on it. She decides to follow it. They park at a farmhouse. Diana is cautiously examining the outside of the farm building when suddenly a window explodes with a spray of glass. Henry, who was held prisoner there and now escaping, looks up at her. He takes off into the woods, but Diana finds herself looking into two guns. She is taken inside.

She is now face-to-face with Mason Steele. He tells her that before he gets rid of her, he wants her to see what he is doing. Steele takes Diana to what appears to be a video sound set, cameras, an engineer, etc- A newsman (FRANK WHITEMAN) appears and tells them he is ready to begin his act. The cameras roll and he starts his speech. With hysteria he screams that there are only two people left since the starships devastated the small group of people fighting them. He says that he thinks they are going off to launch another attack somewhere else. He goes on and on telling about the destruction and that he thinks that this is the beginning of the end for everyone. He ends his speech and Steele tells Diana that with sound effects and lighting effects it will be more effective. Steele instructs his men to take the tape to the transmitter and to put it on the air within an hour. Diana then finds out that the UF0 was made out of a blimp and some colored lights. and , the battles were staged. Diana questions Steele as to why he is doing this. He tells her that he wants Red China blown to bits. By staging all the battles, UFO's, etc., he knows that the Army will be frightened enough and that they will order Col. Elliot to release the missile that will l and in the middle Of the People's Republic Of China!

Steele orders Diana to be tied up with a bomb set to go off within minutes. They leave her alone and head for the transmitter. Henry, who has now returned to the farm building looking of his camera, finds her and releases her. Diana finds out from Henry where the transmitter is and she sends him back into town. The minute he is gone, she whirls into Wonder Woman. She runs out Or the building and catches Steele and his little men Just as they are ready to leave for the transmitter. A fight follows with Wonder Woman ducking, swinging, using Judo and soon there is a pile of heavies. Someone fires their gun, but she deflects the bullets with her bracelets. They all flee leaving Steele. She uncoils her lasso, twirls it, ropes Steele and they leave for the transmitter. The engineer has put in the tape and it is beginning to roll. A close-up Of Wonder Woman is burned in and she explains to the people that it was all a hoax. Not to believe anything they saw before, and she especially points out that if Col. Elliott is listening, please do not release the missile. She repeats it was all a hoax. At that very moment, Col. Elliot looks up at the screen and takes his finger

off the release button. He is relieved. Wonder Woman appeared at the right moment. In Berryville the people are once again living a normal life. Everyone is so happy to have Henry back, that his parents and Mary Lou's parents give in and the give their blessings to the both of them. Diana looks at Henry and Mary Lou with a satisfied smile....
