"The Deadly Dolphin""The Deadly Dolphin""The Deadly Dolphin""The Deadly Dolphin""The Deadly Dolphin""The Deadly Dolphin""The Deadly Dolphin"

Dr. Sylvia Stubbs (PENELOPE WINDUST) curator of marine mammals at Ocean Park is supervising the move of a dolphin, Bluebird, from his tank to a moving van for a trip to San Diego. Darrell (BRIAN TOCHI) a teenage boy is trying to comfort Gladys, another dolphin, when suddenly an armored truck appears. Gaffer (ALBERT POPWELL) a bad guy, posing as a sheriff, and his henchmen,-surround the moving van, lock Sylvia inside and kidnap the dolphin.

Diana Prince (LYNDA CARTER) was sent to San Diego to study Bluebird only to discover that Bluebird never arrived. She calls Steve (LYLE WAGGONER) at the IADC headquarters who informs Diana that Bluebird served four years in research for the Navy Sea lab in Florida until two weeks ago when he disappeared. He was listed missing or dead until he showed up in Los Angeles. Now, the Navy knows that Bluebird could not possibly swim from the Caribbean to Los Angeles in two weeks, so he was stolen then transported by air or land to Los Angeles. He managed to escape into the Pacific and that is when he was found by Ocean Park. Steve tells Diana to find out why someone wants a dolphin so badly that they would steal him twice.

In the meantime, Silas Lockhart (NICHOLAS COSTER) a money-crazed real-estate specuIator is flying over the Big Sur area of California in his private plane, when he gets a phone call from Gaffer informing him that they have the dolphin. Lockhart is thrilled and he can now proceed with his plan.

He approaches Goodspeed (MACON McCALMAN) the owner of 20 miles of coastline in the Big Sur area, to buy the land. Goodspeed refuses so Lockhart takes matters into his own hands.

Diana is investigating Bluebird's disappearance. Darrell tells her that Bluebird is a big eater and no food was put in the moving van. Diana starts out to find a fish store. She soon does find one and sees a man carrying a huge parcel with both arms. She knows it is fish because a woman who passes him sniffs the package and makes a face. She follows him for a short distance then whirls into Wonder Woman. He threatens her with a rifle but she jabs her finger into the muzzle and peels the barrel out like a flower. From him, Wonder Woman finds out where Sylvia and the dolphin are and she rescues them.

Lockhart is once again in his airplane flying over an enormous supertanker. His plan is to have Bluebird wear a harness and explosive payload on his back, swim to the tanker and have him stick the explosive payload firmly to the bottom of the hulk. The tanker will blow up and 500,000 tons of crude oil will spill near the coast. The investors will want out and Goodspeed will have to sell the l and to Lockhart.

Diana, with the Navy's help, finds out more information about Gaffer. She telephones Steve and reports to him that Gaffer's real name is Schultz and he has training in demolition. He also trained Bluebird. During the conversation they are interrupted by IRAC, the computer, telling them that Schultz purchased a sea vessel just ten days ago. She finds out the name of the boat and where it is docked and decides to pay a visit. Once aboard she is caught, tied up and brought to Lockhart. From things in her purse they find out she is a government agent. They decide to get rid of her after Bluebird has accomplished his mission. She is below, left alone. Diana nudges her chair until she can reach the door with her foot and shut it. She begins working on her bindings.

Sylvia decides to harness Gladys and send her out into the ocean and look for Bluebird. Gladys, a very smart dolphin, knows what she has to do.

Diana now frees herself and whirls into Wonder Woman. She moves toward the door and hears the conversation between Gaffer and Lockhart. Gaffer objects when he finds out that it is an oil tanker that Bluebird is to blow up. He knows that Bluebird will never make it back and since he trained him he doesn't want him killed. Lockhart hears none of this -he just wants the tanker to explode. However, Wonder Woman did hear it all and she knows

what she has to do. She whirls into underwater Wonder Woman and leaps overboard. She swims toward the tanker where Gladys intercepts her and together they swim toward Bluebird. Wonder Woman reaches the bottom of the boat where she frees the explosive device and Bluebird. She takes the harness off Bluebird thus freeing him from the bomb-payload completely. She takes the payload in her hands, throws it and some distance away the ocean erupts from an underwater explosion but there isn't a boat in sight and the explosion does no harm.

Lockhart and his men, except Gaffer, are sent to jail. Gaffer is set free to continue his good work with dolphins. Diana watches, with a big smile on her face, Gladys and Bluebird jumping happily in their private tank.
