Anthony Borden (ROBERT DUNLAP), a top-notch nuclear engineer, is on the dance floor of the Styx disco, with Kathy Munro (KERRY SHERMAN), a stunning blonde. Angelique (ELLEN WESTON), the owner of Styx, welcomes Borden and mentions to Kathy that she might be interested in taking him back to one of the private rooms. They walk down a plushly carpeted corridor, enter -a mirrored room; then Kathy disappears. Nick Moreno (MICHAEL DELANO), dressed in disco-king white, enters the small area and calls Tony by name, telling him not to worry about Kathy. Tony spins around, seeking an exit, but Nick grabs him. As Borden turns, Nick's eyes glow brightly. Nick's hands go to Borden's temples his eyes glowing brighter as he says, "Lemme take some of the load off your mind...all the secrets that got you so uptight."

Diana Prince (LYNDA CARTER) rushes across the military compound with a Colonel (RUSSELL JOHNSON). A prototype nuclear detonator is five and a half minutes from blowing up itself and the compound. At last, Tony Borden arrives. He attaches a mini-computer in his briefcase to the detonator and checks the readout. The detonator is scrambling all incoming commands, but the master code should work. That is, if Borden can remember it. Diana suggests that everyone should head for the shielding area. As they scatter, she dashes behind the building and whirls into Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman rushes toward the bomb, which has begun to glow ominously. She rips the sphere from the platform and hurls it into the sky where it bursts into flames and then safely sputters.

Nick Moreno recites the code numbers with calm assurance as he sits in the bar area of Styx. Angelique, sitting with Nick recording his every word, encourages him to speed up; the person buying the tape is waiting. Nick goes on, trance-like, explaining the detonation system. He pauses for a moment and asks for the night off, but Angelique tells him that they will be entertaining a designer of military satellites whose secrets may be worth $100,000 to them.

Diana, at the I.A.D.C. Building, explains to Steve Trevor (LYLE WAGGONER) that not only is the classified data gone, but the doctors say Borden can't recall a thing that happened to him in the past twenty-four hours. It's as if someone just lifted the memories right out of his mind. Steve now remembers some research that IRAC has been conducting on paranormal behavior. Diana quickly studies the computer's findings. Nicholas Carbone, reported killed in a gang war two years earlier, and Del Franklin (PAUL SAND) are the only two cases on file who have the power to leave an amnesiac void.

Diana tracks down Franklin at the InterCity Trucking Company. As she arrives, Franklin pulls up in his rig, but forgets to set the emergency brake. The empty truck begins a roll toward the garage Del dives back into the cab, just too late to save his job.

Diana explains that she is aware of his paranormal power, and offers him a job with the IADC as an investigator.

'What've I got to lose," he shrugs, "except another job?"

When they shake hand , Del's paranormal mind flashes on Diana as Wonder Woman hurling the bomb. 'You on the IADC Bomb Squad or something?" he asks. Diana laughs non chalantly and denies having anything to do with bombs.

Meanwhile, one of Angelique's hoods, Lance (VICTOR MOHICA), has been watching this whole scene and quickly reports back to Styx. Nick hears the name and immediately connects Del Franklin with the Institute where they were both tested. Nick says that Del may be able to probe Borden's subconscious. Angelique orders that Del be brought to the Styx. Diana Prince is another story. Angelique wants Lance to eliminate her straight off.

Kathy appears at Del Franklin's apartment building, asking him for help with her car. He fiddles with a spark plug and the car starts up. Kathy invites him to the Styx as her guest.

Out on the dance floor, Del Franklin bounces with Kathy. He's not very good. They sit the next one out and while talking, Del feels awkward. He apologizes to her and leaves. She is flabbergasted -no one walks out on her. Angelique tells another hood, Norman (BOB HOY), to bring Del back -preferably in one piece.

Diana enters her apartment. She hears movement and quickly turns off the lights. She races down the stairs but Del comes rushing toward her. Someone tried to run him off the road. Diana tells him that she has her own problems. Then Lance emerges from the apartment, his gun drawn on the duo. A soaking wet Norman chases into the scene. The two cut-throats are surprised to see each other. Now Norman takes Del away while Lance hustles Diana back into the apartment.

Diana hits the television's remote control knob, turning on the television full blast. Lance is startled by the sudden noise. Diana seizes this opportunity and springs for him, executing a perfect judo flip and exiting quickly.

Now, Del, with a gun drawn on his head, is getting into Norman's car. Suddenly, Wonder Woman arrives and grabs the rear bumper of the car as Norman tries to pull away. Lance, recovered from Diana's toss, runs toward the car with his gun drawn.Wonder Woman has no choice but to release the car and block Del. Lance fires and she deflects the bullets with her bracelets. The car moves forward, Lance jumps in, firing shots as he moves, and the car speeds off.

Wonder Woman now wants Del in a hideout. Steve brings him to a safe house and briefs him on the security measures. Steve and Diana bring Borden to Del's hideaway the next morning. Del turns Borden into a believer when he telepathically "sees" his fiance. Del, touching his fingers to Borden's temples and his eyes glowing slightly, probes the engineer's mind, searching for clues. While Steve settles back to work at the IADC headquarters, Nick and Lance are making ready to pay him a visit. Nick asks the receptionist for Diana, but hearing that she is not in then asks for her supervisor. The receptionist insists that she cannot give out that information, but Nick has already placed his fingertips to her temples and retrieved all the information that he needs. Lance and Nick now go to Steve's office where they erase part of his memory while finding out Del's location. Diana returns but is startled when she discovers that Steve has absolutely no idea who Del Franklin is. Realizing that something is afoul, she tries to get Steve to remember the phone number of the safe house. Diana tries the number but there is no answer. She is worried. Angelique welcomes Del to the Styx. She is surprised that Nick is not with Del, almost as if he didn't want to meet him. Meanwhile, Diana and Steve inspect the safe house. The guards remember nothing. Diana has a feeling that they may have taken Del to the Styx.

At the disco, Nick bursts into a confrontation with Angelique. He demands control of the operation and tosses Angelique aside as he storms out. Angelique orders Lance to eliminate Nick. With Del now in her custody she sees the possibility of harnessing his talents to replace the departing Nick. Lance botches the attack and has most of his memory erased by Nick. They return to the Styx where Nick now tries to attack Angelique. Diana, who has been dancing while the trouble brewed, utilizes the mayhem to whirl into Wonder Woman and save Del. But Nick lets go of Angelique and draws a gun on Del. Wonder Woman hurls her tiara and knocks the gun out of his hand. Now Del goes for Nick, who is petrified, because both men know that if they use their paranormal powers on each other, they will cancel them out.

Angelique makes a break for the exit but is quickly blocked by Wonder Woman. She pushes Angelique into a chair, wrapping the metal arms of it around her wrists, binding her in place. Meanwhile, Del has grasped Nick's temples. In a reflex action Nick reaches up and grabs Del's arm, but this completes the circuit and both men's eyes glow brightly. They break away from one another's grasp, dazed. They are both normal now. A few days later at the IADC office, Del learns that Tony Borden's memory has begun to return. Del also assures Diana that any deep, dark, juicy secrets of hers that he may have picked up on earlier are safe forever now.
