A small group of teen-agers are gathered in front of a high-rise condominium, hoping to get a glimpse of Lane Kincaid (LEIF GARRETT), a young, good-looking pop music star. Apart from the crowd, Whitney Springfield (DAWN LYN) devises a plan to get into the building. As an elderly resident approaches, carrying shopping bags, Whitney quickly moves to her and hoists several of the bags into her own arms. She insists she help the woman to her apartment. Once inside the building, she makes her way, via the roof, to Lane's patio. With autograph book and pen in hand, she move toward the patio door when suddenly the door to Lane's room bursts open. She jumps away as she sees three masked men, guns in their hands, who have overpowered Lane's bodyguard and manager and tell Lane to get to his feet. When he asks where they are taking him, they tell him to "your just reward."

Aboard the cabin cruiser "Your Just Reward," Lane is brought face-to-face with Raleigh Crichton (ALBERT PAULSEN), the brains behind Lane's kidnapping. As Lane listens he hears Crichton demand two million dollars from his manager, Ripley (MICHAEL LERNER). A Lane Kincaid concert is coming up soon, and Crichton knows Ripley will have to pay him.

In the meantime, Diana Prince (LYNDA CARTER) is completing some business With Ben Springfield (ROBERT PATTEN), Whitney's Father, when the door to his office opens and Whitney enters, distraught and in tears. Her father explains to Diana that Whitney saw Lane Kincaid abducted, but he dismisses it as just another one of her stories. As Diana leaves, Whitney follows her and pleads for Diana's help. To pacify Whitney, Diana says she will look into it. Alone, she whirls into Wonder Woman; she unties her lasso, whirls it over he head and the loop soars higher and higher toward the roof of the high-rise building. Once on the roof, she jumps town silently to the patio and walks toward the patio door. To her amazement, she sees Lane Kincaid sitting in a chair. She knows Whitney mate the whole thing up. When she confronts Whitney with her find, Whitney tells her that the news said that Lane was rehearsing, and if so, how could he be in his room. Diana admits it sound suspicious.

In the penthouse, Ripley is talking to Mike Kincaid, twin brother of Lane. Mike tells him that Crichton found him and that he and Lane have been separated since their parents were killed in an automobile accident many years ago. Crichton promised nothing would happen to Lane if he did everything Crichton told him. In this way, nobody knows the real Lane has been kidnapped except the manager, and he is the one who is to get the money to Crichton.

Diana places a call to Steve Trevor (LYLE WAGGONER) in Washington and tells him to feed the word kidnapping to IRAC, the information relayed is Raligh Crichton -a name associated with many kidnappings in which the victim is replaced by a double. Since Ripley is the only one aware that the real Lane is kidnapped, Diana decides to follow him to an old junk yard. She whirls into Wonder Woman. As Ripley is ready to give the briefcase with the money to one of Crichton's men, Wonder Woman appears, the heavies make a run for it with Wonder Woman not far behind. She is ready to catch them when she hears a cry for help. It is Ripley faking a cry. He wants Wonder Woman out of the way and not to interfere with his business. But, it is too late. When the heavies return to the boat and tell Crichton what happened, he decides to punish Ripley by not accepting any of his calls. Crichton will keep Lane.

Ripley cannot cancel the concert. He tells Mike that he will appear in Lane's place and lip sync. Mike is terrified, but agrees. Healf through the concert, the audience catches on and they start to boo and hiss. Diana and Whitney, who are in the audience, know Lane has been kidnapped. As the audience is ready to walk out, Mike tells the engineer not to put on another taped number. Se starts to his own music, different from Lane's and the audience goes wild. Mike is a smashing success.

Through Whitney, Diana learns the last thing said to Lane by the kidnappers is that they were taking him to "your last record.' Probing and thinking, Diana finds out from the Coast Guard that there is a boat by that name. As she and Whitney head for the boat, the Coast Guard informs her that some people have left the boat and are in a black car. Diana and Whitney are in hot pursuit and upon spotting the car, Diana must think of a way to get away from Whitney. She drops her off in front of a store with instructions to call the police. When Whitney is out of sight, Diana gets out of the car and immediately whirls into Wonder Woman.

Just as Crichton and his men are getting ready to get rid of Lane, Wonder Woman explodes on the scene. A fight follows with the heavies knocked out and Crichton ends up in an oil slick and he can not regain his footing. Sirens are fast approaching and Wonder Woman leaves.

Lane and his brother Mike form a new act and on opening night, Whitney and Diana are front row center cheering them on.
