the privacy of her home, Diana whirls into Wonder Woman in front
of a Grecian mirror and the image of her mother, the Queen
(BEATRICE STRAIGHT), appears. Her uneasiness is well-founded as
she tells her mother she ix being sent on a mission to arrest an
international criminal, a weapons dealer named Raymond Manta, who
is operating within the Bermuda Triangle. If he is captured,
America will build a nuclear experimental facility only a few
miles from Paradise Island. This could destroy the island! The
Queen reminds Wonder Woman that even though the Amazons have lived
there for thousands of years, she had sworn allegiance to her new
friends and cannot go back on her pledge...
