...Alone
in her room, Diana removes an ornate, Grecian type compact from
her bag, opens it, placing it on a table. Standing in front of it,
she whirls into Wonder Woman and immediately rubs the ruby in her
tiara. The mirror goes black and the image of the Queen appears.
Diana explains that the wedding was staged. Her "husband " is a
member of the White House staff. He agreed to the marriage to help
the agency track town a man who seems able to procure information
of the most sensitive nature from the wives of high government
officials. As a married woman, Diana can enter the spider's web
without suspicion. Her mother is relieved, warns Wonder Woman if
she falls in love with a mortal man, she will become mortal
herself... |
