PUBLICITY photo of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman from the early days of the ABC series.

"I don't really think it's so much for men or as a sex symbol or necessarily Women's Lib, but just that at the time that the character was originally developed all the boys had a hero and the girls had to have boy heroes. So that's the reason Wonder Woman was developed-to give a heroine to little girls. As far as Women's Lib, in the early, early comic books, it's really funny, it was probably the most chauvinistic thing you could ever read. I mean, it was almost the other way, which was funny."
