WONDERWOMAN
MEETS DES O'CONNOR. The air was crackling with electricity on
Sunday 31st September when TV's Wonder Woman, alias Lynda
Carter, met Des O'Connor in rehearsal for a singing duet on his
BBC show. The 48 year old balladeer definitely enjoyed his brief
time with Lynda, who to the dismay of her many fans has coiled
up her lasso and taken to the stage. She says she may return to
the screen in search of injustice at some later date, but for
the time being she is pursuing her own ambitions on a tour of
Britain with a dazzling stage show, managed by her husband Ron. |
