I too had the wonderful pleasure of being at the Double Dare movie premier here in Washington, DC at the AFI theater in Silver Spring, MD May 25th. The evening was filled with excitement and energy as people waited for Lynda's arrival. I had already taken my seat in the theater with a friend of mine, we sat in the last row right in front of the VIP section where Lynda was sitting. Inside the theater it was a buzz with conversation about Lynda and if she had arrived. I saw one woman quickly walking past me and may have said she's here, so I bolted up from my seat, camera in hand and made my way outside to the front of the theater, where I saw  Lynda standing autographing photos for other fans. She looked fabulous!! When she was done, she turned to me, I said hello and she let out with a roar, my name and told the crowd that she had known me for quite sometime, we hugged, she gave a kiss on the cheek, we took a few photos, and chatted for a quick second, they were running a bit behind schedule but it was so good to catch up with her.

I have had the privilege of meeting Lynda several times, in many different settings and each time she has been absolutely the warmest and kindest person. I still get a rush of adrenaline when I see her, as if it's my first time meeting her. Even at one of our meetings she introduced me to her husband, Robert Altman. I was attending one of the congressional hearings regarding BCCI, which Robert was acquitted. I have been a fan of Lynda's for 30 years, ever since the pilot in Nov 1975 and here we are today. Lynda is truly a Wonder Woman"
