LYNDA CARTER, known to most TV viewers as Wonder Woman was born in Phoenix, Arizona 25 years aga. She is the youngest of the Carter's three children. One of the things not too many of her fans know about is Lynda' singing talent. She actually started out in the business as a singer. She even writes her own songs and when she was a child did duets with her sister. Asa matter of fact, one of the songs Lynda has recorded will be out on the MCA label soon! Ever since Lynda was a little girl, she wanted to be an; actress. She was always ambitious, too. When she was 13, she starte earning her own money. She organized car washes, did Secretarial work worked ina restaurant and was only 15 when she earned her first money as a singer. She sang with a band for a school dance and was paid $25. After that, she joined a group and started singing with them on weekends at a college pub. When she was 17 she went on the road for three years and then she decided to quit. She really wanted to go to Los Angeles and try to landa recording contract, so she went home. After a week, she went to an agent who advised her to enter a beauty contest. She did because she had nothing else to do. In the space of 20 days she won the Miss Phoenix Miss Arizona, and Miss World-USA titles. Two months later she went England and won the Miss World 197 contest there. After winning that crown she returned to England to do s recording, then, decided to move California to study acting. She studied acting ata workshop for two y Finally she did a screen test and cast as Wonder Woman. She married to Ron Samuels
