Lynda
Carter, the amazing Wonder Woman from TV, is making presentations
in Vegas with a much detailed musical, offering songs and
humoristic anecdotes. But while her talents as a singer are
surprising, the main atraction is her beauty. Watching her on
stage with many different gowns, her long brown hair over her
shoulders, nobody wonders why withing a year she became ""Miss
Phoenix", "Miss Arizona" and "Miss World USA" and that after her
name, many journalist mention her measurments of 38-25-35. |
In this new chaper
of her life, what says Lynda Carter? Adter the show we've got the
chance to talk to her and she said: "For a start I'd like to make
some things clear about some comments I heard about my private and
professional life I have heard... They said that taking advantage
of my success as "Wonder Woman" I wanted to take out the best of
it as a singer. I want to tell you that I started singing when I
was 16 years old, and I went on tour throught the States during
1971 and 1972 singing with a quartet. They have aslo criticized me
because I've been a model for a cosmetic company and women's
fashion. I just do it because I like seeing myself in ladies
magazines and become something familiar to them beyond Wonder
Woman. It's not true either that money has changed me. I'm the
same person after earning a million dollars that the one that
earned 90 bucks a week singing in clubs..." |
"Last but not least
I want to deny all versions insisting aboput a crisis in my
marriage. Everybody knows that my husband Ron Samuels, manages
many celebrities and earns a fortune by doing that. However he
left me for some weeks to come to Las Vegas and personally take
care of my interests and taking care of my every details in my
shows. Last month we've been married for a year and in our case
we're still living a honeymoon. This was what I wanted to say. I
also want to say that I'm so happy with the many letters i
received from South America, specially from Argentina, and there's
a chance that I'd made a tour visiting you after I finish shooting
the 'Wonder Woman' season." |
