Diana as an inmortal Amazon who with her mother and sisters
runaway from the domination of Greeks and Romans, 2000 B.C. in a
mythical island called Paradise. Air Force pilot Major Steve
Trevor crash lands on the island. As Diana Prince she becomes
Major Trevor's secretary in the States where she fighst the Nazis. |

FROM
THE COMICS TO TV: Warner Bros gets the rights to make "Wonder
Woman". They hire a blonde actress called Cathy Lee Crosby and
shoot a pilot in 1974. It's a failure. But they insisted with
another actress: Lynda Carter. The new pilot airs on November 7,
1975. Huge success. |

FIRST
AND SECOND SEASON: During the first season (1976-77) they shoot 14
episodes. Then they switch to CBS and they make 26 episodes
(1977-78). The action set changes from teh 40s to the 70s. Lynda
is still the immortal Wonder Woman and actor Lyle Waggoner, plays
Major Steve Trevor's son. There's a 22-episode third season. |
