The
existence of Lynda carter shows today two different faces. One of
them, is well defined. We refer to the faboulous professional
success as the star of "Wonder Woman." The other face it's more
confusing and refers to her intimate world. Th rumour in Hollywood
says that there's a crisis in the marriage of Lynda Carter and her
husband. What's true about these rumours? Apparently a lot. |

The surprising determination of suspending diverse activities,
among those her possible trip to Argentina, gave cause to the
speculations. As we write the lines in the meca of cinema, there
are rumours that the problems are a matter of jeaulousy. Lynda and
Ron met by the end of last year, and after six months they
married. The ceremony was on May 28 in Beverly Hills. It was
Lynda's first weeding, and the second one for Ron of which it's
said that his former marriage ended because of excesive jealousy.
But in this case the unjustified jelousy came by the side of Lynda
Carter who accused Ron Samuels of dedicating too much time to
Lindsay Wagner, "The Bionic Woman." Ron won't deny that the
matters related to Lindsay makes him travel constantly from
Hollywood to New York to take care of contracts, networks,
posters, toys, etc. But he insists that's only a pure commercial
relationship. Lynda has her doubts and has entered a dangerous
game. |

While was in New York, prolonging a visit excessively, the star of
"Wonder Woman" was seen in Hollywood in different events with Lyle
Waggoner, the actor who plays Major Steve Trevor in the hit
series. A lot of people consider that these appearances are part
of a plan of publicity for the second season of the series. But
many others think that Lynda is counter-attacking with the idea of
making Ron feel jealous. Thi is a game in which many could result
burnt. A few months ago, considering the success of "Wonder Woman"
it was decided that it would continue with a new season but with
some changes. The new title is now "The New Adventures Of Wonder
Woman" and the set in not in the 40s but in current times. They
thought Lynda could have another co-star but she insisted that
they justified the presence of Waggoner at any price in spite of
the 30-years gap. the new season has already started in the USA
with a bigger succes than the first one and everything agrees with
Lynda. But we insist, which is not certain is her intimate
panorama. The star says about it: "I never been stopped by gossip.
I have always followed my way looking forward, not to the sides".
And that is true. Above all she has self confidence. |

Born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 24, 1952, the third daughter of
Colby and Jean Carter, she came to this world to succeed in show
business. First she devoted to singing and performed in several
bands until by chance she presented as "Miss Phoenix" and won the
title. Then she succeded as "Miss Arizona," "miss World U.S.A."
and as a candidate to "Miss Universe" losing to the Australian
representant. All this during 1973, which was a huge publicity for
this 5' 8¼''
beauty, 122 lbs. and a very impressive 38-25-35 measurements.
Lynda studied drama with Charles Conrad and Lieux Dresler, and
made several screen tests, and Doug Cramer, producer of "Wonder
Woman," saw one of them and hired her. The rest is known history.
Nobody can't deny her success. What is in doubt it's her intimate
present. Let's hope it all goes down to a little tale of
injustified jealousy. |
