1. Lynda Carter was born 25 years ago in Phoenix, Arizona.

2. She has green eyes and dark brown hair that she keeps pretty by brushing 100 strokes every day.

3. A towering 6' tall, Lynda was always self-conscious about her height. In high school she felt it turned off boys and left her lonely many times.

4. Weighing a slight 120 pounds, Lynda's measurements are 38-20-37.

5. Lynda grew up in Phoenix, where her parents are lucrative antique dealers.

6. In 1971, Lynda won the Miss Arizona-World Contest and went on to compete for the 1972 Miss World-U.S.A. title.

7. Lynda won that title but lost the Miss World title to an Australian girl.

8. After winning that beauty contest, Lynda did what many beauty queens do, she went to Hollywood to become a star.

9. Throughout high school, Lynda was very active in sports and singing.

10. When Lynda was only 15 she was hired by the folk group Just Us to sing backup and sometimes lead.

11. After high school Lynda decided to try out her singing talents. She toured in England with several rock groups but never got the break she was looking for.

12. If Lynda weren't an actress she'd like to write and perform her own music.

13. Lynda took acting lessons in Hollywood and did one TV series called Nakia, and a movie called Shamus. 14. Lynda was discovered for the part of Wonder Woman by Douglas Cramer, who said he was looking for "a cross between a javelin-thrower and Mary Tyler Moore."

15. To keep her spectacular figure Lynda swims 60 laps in her pool every day and bounces on a trampoline.

16. Among her favorite sports is tennis, which she plays avidly, and sometimes beats husband Ron Samuels.

17. Lynda is a real cowgirl. She rides horses and does her own roping, too.

18. On the show, Wonder Woman, Lynda says, "I like to do as many of the stunts as possible." The producers of the show won't let her risk the really dangerous ones.

19. As for Lynda's bespangled red, white and blue costume, she comments, "I wish all my clothes were as comfortable as it is."

20. Lynda's favorite colors are browns, golds and blues, "depending on my mood," she says.

21. On May 28, 1977, Lynda married her personal manager, Ron Samuels, 33. Fifty of their closest friends attended.

22. They spent a short honeymoon in Hawaii before both had to go back to work. Ron also manages Lindsay Wagner, the Bionic Woman, and Charlie's Angels' Jaclyn Smith.

23. The couple now reside in Bel Air, California, in a luxurious house that Lynda decorated herself.

24. Lynda says she's not very domestic but she loves to cook. Her and Ron's favorite food is fish.

25. Growing up in Arizona, Lynda was a very shy girl. She admits to having a hard time with boys, but now she has much more self-confidence and she isn't afraid of anything anymore.

26. Although ABC aired Wonder Woman, they cancelled out. CBS ought the rights and the show is on their fall schedule.

27. Wonder Woman is supposed to reflect women's liberation, but Lynda says, "it has more qualities than that because it's honest - that's the biggest thing."

28. Lynda doesn't feel like a star yet. "To be a star," she says, "you have to play a lot of roles like Katharine Hepburn or Barbra Streisand. When I have the respect of my peers, than I'll know I'm a star."

29. Lynda is not planning to have children yet, but she wants them, when her life has settled down a bit more.

30. Lynda's next ambition: "I want to do everything. My career is just starting to open up!"
