Winner of the contest Miss World USA in 1973, Lynda Carter embodied the Amazonian Wonder Woman of television from 1976 to 1979, plus some telefilms like Born to Be Sold, Stillwatch and Rita Hayworth: The Love Goddess. In 1984, the year of her marriage with lawyer Robert Altman, she returned with Loni Anderson in Partners in Crime, "a glamour detective series" that didn’t pass the 13 episodes. After the movies, she become director of the company of Maybelline, which under her representation raised from 70 millions $US to 450 millions $US per year. Champion of the social reasons, she testified in 1990 before a senatorial commission in favor of research on the breast cancer. Lynda, will be 49 years old in July, and didn't get the cuffs during the last two years because of her addiction problems.
